Nick was lying on a sofa while watching tv when someone came into the room. He sat up to see his brother standing there.

“Hey Nick. Have you seen Demi?” Asked Joe
“Yeah, she and Kevin went to walk like… twenty minutes ago. Why?”
“I wanted to practice with her… I just can’t do it right!” said Joe with a sad face.
“Oh c’mon… I’m sure you can!” Nick said with a reassuring smile
“Nick… can you help me?”
“Eh?”
“It’s the song ‘This is me’. You have seen Demi singing it! Please!”
Nick sighed. He just couldn’t say no when Joe looked him with that sad puppy face.
“ok”


Minutes later…

“Ready?” Nick just nodded to his brother question.
Taking a big breath he started to sing and Joe just stared at him. This has never happened to him when he has heard Demi sing it. He could hear how loud was beating his heart.
“Joe here is when you start singing”
“Oh! S-sorry!”
“ha, ha. Maybe you can’t do this part ‘cause you’re just staring at Demi the entire song”
“No! I don’t!... I-I don’t stay like that when she sings…” Nick went quiet. It was Joe who broke the silence.
“You’d be good to Mitchie’s character”
Nick blinked “WHAT?!”
“Hey! I didn’t mean to offend you! You know… you’re amazing singing and that…”
“M- maybe we should start again”
“ok. I promise I’m going to put attention this time”.

‘Now or never.’ Joe gazed at Nick in the eyes

As they were singing their hands linked. Their eyes never leaving the other’s.

When they ended singing Joe noticed how close they were to each other, thing that he supposed Nick was aware for the blush on his cheeks
“Need more help?”
“What about the kiss?” said Joe leaning in and pressed his lips against Nick’s. after a few seconds Nick was corresponding his brother’s kiss and his hands were on Joe’s soft hair. When they finally pulled apart for air and opened their eyes (no idea when they closed them in first place)
Nick realized something.
“Joe…There isn’t a kiss” His brother smirked “Whatever” he said before moving his hands to Nick’s waist and pulled his brother into another kiss.
